Sejarah teologi merupakan cabang ilmu yang mengkhususkan diri mempelajari tahap-tahap perkembangan refleksi iman Kristiani (teologi) sepanjang sejarah, sejak dari komunitas kristiani awali sampai dengan sekarang ini. Dengan mengetahui tahap-tahap perkembangan tersebut beserta kekhasan setiap tahap dan pengaruhnya bagi teologi itu sendiri maupun bagi kehidupan Gereja/komunitas Kristiani secara lebih luas, hakikat teologi sebagai sebuah ilmu gerejawi dan upaya iman yang berdimensi konkret dan historis menjadi lebih nampak. The history of theology is a branch of knowledge that specializes in studying the developmental stages of reflection on the Christian faith (theology) throughout history, from the early Christian community to the present day. By knowing these stages of development along with the peculiarities of each stage and their influence on theology itself as well as on the life of the Church/Christian community more broadly, the essence of theology as an ecclesiastical science and endeavor of faith which has a concrete and historical dimension becomes more visible. Theology is understood as a dynamic effort in ecclesiastical unity to reflect and present the heritage of faith in life with specific contexts and challenges as a background.

• Pengantar Kitab Suci Perjanjian Lama / Introduction to the Old Testament Scriptures (PHL 319 / TEO 815)

Mata Kuliah yang memberikan dasar-dasar pemahaman Kitab Suci dalam Gereja Katolik dengan tujuan untuk mengantar mahasiswa mendalami pengetahuan Kitab Suci, secara khusus Kitab Suci Perjanjian Lama: Pengertian Alkitab, Geografi dan Ketanahan Alkitab, Sejarah perjalanan bangsa Israel, dan pengetahuan dasar tentang masing-masing buku/tulisan dalam KSPL.

This course provides the basics of understanding the Scriptures in the Catholic Church with the aim of leading students to deepen the knowledge of the Scriptures, specifically the Old Testament Scriptures: Understanding the Bible, Biblical Geography and Land, History of the journey of the Israelites, and basic knowledge about each books/writings in the KSPL.

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu menguraikan tema-tema pokok liturgi gerejani secara sistematis, mencakup pengertiannya, sejarah terbentuk dan perkembangannya hingga sekarang.

In this course, students are able to systematically describe the main themes of ecclesiastical liturgy, including their meaning, history, and development until now.

• Moral Fundamental 1 (PHL 328 / TEO 711)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip etika atau moral Kristiani pada kasus-kasus moral yang terjadi di sekelilingnya.

In this course students are able to apply Christian ethical or moral principles to the moral cases that occur around them.

• Pengantar Bahasa Ibrani / Introduction to Hebrew (PHL 358 / IPT 213)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu mengetahui cara menulis dan membaca tulisan berbahasa lbrani, mengetahui beberapa gramatika dasar bahasa lbrani, serta mengetahui cara menerjemahkan tulisan bahasa lbrani ke dalam bahasa Indonesia.

In this course students are able to know how to write and read written language Hebrew, know some of the basic grammar of the Hebrew language, and know how to translate Hebrew text into Indonesian.

• Sejarah Gereja Kuno dan Abad Pertengahan / History of the Ancient Church and the Middle Ages (TEO 811)

Mahasiswa mampu menguraikan sejarah Gereja sejak awal mula berdiri sampai akhir Abad Pertengahan secara runtut dan sistematis, serta mengidentifikasi pengaruh masa itu dalam konteks saat ini.

Students are able to describe the history of the Church from its inception to the end of the Middle Ages in a coherent and systematic manner, and identify the influence of that period in the current context.

• Patrologi / Patrology (PHL 405 / TEO 814)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu menjelaskan pokok-pokok pemikiran bapa-bapa Gereja yang berfilsafat teologi secara sistematis serta mengidentifikasi pokok-pokok pemikiran itu dalam praktik kehidupan Gereja Katolik hingga sekarang.

In this course students are able to explain the main ideas of the Church fathers who philosophize theology systematically and identify the main points of thought that is in the practice of the life of the Catholic Church until now.

• ISSEP  (PHL 329 / IPF 219)

Mahasiswa mampu berdialog dengan berbagai ilmu sosial tentang persoalan­ persoalan   hidup  bersama.   Kemampuan   ini  meliputi  kemampuan melakukan analisa sederhana terkait persoalan filosofis yang digeluti oleh ilmu sosial lain, kemampuan berdiskusi tentang berbagai tema sosial dari sudut pandang filsafat dan aplikasi konkret  filsafat  bagi kehidupan sosial secara  umum dalam konteks Indonesia.

Students are able to dialogue with various social sciences about issues of living together. This ability includes the ability to carry out simple analyzes related to philosophical issues involved in other social sciences, the ability to discuss various social themes from a philosophical point of view and concrete applications of philosophy for social life in general in the Indonesian context.

• Kitab Pentateukh / Book of the Pentateuch (PHL 410 / TEO 412)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu menguraikan secara kritis, kreatif, dan sistematis latar belakang historis, struktur penulisan, dan teologi dari lima kitab pertama, yakni: Kejadian,Keluaran, lmamat, dan Bilangan.

In this course students are able to describe critically, creatively, and systematically background historical, literary structure, and theology of the first five books, namely: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers.

• Teologi Penciptaan dan Sejarah Keselamatan / The Theology of Creation and the History of Salvation (PHL 367 / TEO 520)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu memahami konsep penciptaan alam semesta dan manusia dalam kerangka teologi Kristiani. Mahasiswa mampu menjelaskan sejarah manusia dan alam semesta setelah penciptaan, kejatuhan manusia dalam dosa, penebusan dalam Kristus dan pegharapan akan kehidupan kekal di akhir zaman.

In this course students are able to understand the concept of the creation of the universe and humans within the framework of Christian theology. Students are able to explain history man and the universe after creation, the fall of man into sin, redemption in Christ and hope for eternal life in the last days.

• Pengantar Kitab Suci Perjanjian Baru / Introduction to the New Testament Scriptures (PHL 368 / TEO 421)

Mata Kuliah yang memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang Kitab Suci Perjanjian Baru, Jenis - jenis buku Perjanjian Baru, Sejarah terbentuknya, dunia Perjanjian Baru) dan mampu menganalisa pelbagai problem dasar Kitab Suci Perjanjian Baru.

Courses that provide basic knowledge of the New Testament Scriptures, types of New Testament books, history of formation, the world of the New Testament) and are able to analyze various basic problems of the New Testament Scriptures.

• Hermeneutika / Hermeneutics (PHL 310 / FIL 916)

Mata kuliah ini mahasiswa mampu memahami secara integral mengenai hermeneutika sebagai filsafat interpretasi atas fenomena hidup manusia, melalui pemikiran-pemikiran para filsuf hermeneutika (Schleiermacher, Dilthey, Gadamer, Heidegger, Habermas, Ricoeur dan Derrida). Mahasiswa mampu mengaplikasikan teori-teori dasar hermeneutika tersebut dalam analisa atas fenomena-fenomena sosial di Indonesia.

In this course students are able to understand integrally about hermeneutics as philosophy of interpretation of the phenomena of human life, through thoughts hermeneutic philosophers (Schleiermacher, Dilthey, Gadamer, Heidegger, Habermas, Ricoeur and Derrida). Students are able to apply theories the basis of hermeneutics in the analysis of social phenomena in Indonesia.

• Seminar Proposal Tugas Akhir / Final Project Proposal Seminar (PHL 370 / SFIL 318)

Mahasiswa mampu merancang, menyusun dan mempresentasikan proposal skripsi yang terdiri dari beberapa bagian, antara lain: latar belakang, perumusan masalah, perspektif yang digunakan, dan rencana pengerjaan skripsi, serta mempertanggungjawabkan proposalnya tersebut dalam sidang proposal di  hadapan dua orang dosen dan terbuka untuk seluruh civitas akademika fakultas. Mata kuliah ini adalah prasyarat utama yang harus diambil oleh mahasiswa sebelum menulis skripsinya.

Students are able to design, compile and present proposals thesis which consists of several parts, including: background, formulation problems, perspectives used, and plans to work on the thesis, as well accountable for the proposal in the proposal session at in the presence of two lecturers and open to the entire academic community of the faculty. This course is the main prerequisite that must be taken by students before writing the thesis.

• Pengantar Bahasa Yunani / Introduction to Greek (PHL 357 / IPT 213)

Mahasiswa menguasai dasar-dasar bahasa Yunani yang berguna untuk membaca dan memahami teks-teks Filsafat Keilahian.

Students master the basics of the Greek language which is useful for read and understand the texts of Philosophy of Divinity.

• Pastoral Katekese / Pastoral Catechesis (PHL 371 / TEO 921)

Mahasiswa mampu memahami makna pastoral Katekese sebagai Tugas Gereja, memiliki pengetahuan praktis untuk berkatese dan mampu menganalisis problema-problem pastoral katekese, serta mengkritisi pastoral katekese sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip berkatese.

Students are able to understand the pastoral meaning of Catechesis as a Church Task,have practical knowledge for catechesis and able to analyze catechetical pastoral problems, as well as criticizing catechetical pastoral accordingly with the principles of catechesis.

• Sejarah Gereja Modern dan Kontemporer (TEO 812)

Mahasiswa mampu menguraikan sejarah Gereja modern sampai kontemporer  secara runtut dan sistematis, serta mengidentifikasi pengaruh masa itu dalam konteks saat ini.

Students are able to describe modern to contemporary Church history coherently and systematically, and identify the influences of that period in the current context.

• Integrated Health Sciences Education Program / IHSEP (PHL 372 / IPF 220)

Mahasiswa mampu berdialog dengan berbagai ilmu kesehatan dalam membahas persoalan-persoalan spesifik. Kemampuan ini meliputi kemampuan melakukan analisa sederhana terkait persoalan filosofis yang digeluti oleh ilmu kesehatan lain, kemampuan berdiskusi tentang berbagai tema kesehatan dari sudut pandang filsafat dan aplikasi konkret filsafat bagi hidup bersama secara umum dalam konteks Indonesia.

Students are able to dialogue with various health sciences in discussing specific issues. This ability includes the ability to do simple analysis related to philosophical issues involved in health science another, the ability to discuss various health themes from one's point of view philosophy and the concrete application of philosophy to life together in general Indonesian context.
